Michael Ray Smith

My Condolences to Alan Smith ,and family,Mike was A great Musician. I remember hearing him in the 70s and was blown away by hearing the song played on the bassoon in person, that was very rare,he also had such a nice Spirit about him, rest in peace, Michael.

I was so sorry to see the announcement of Michael´s death in today´s paper. He and his brother Alan and I were all involved in music at Smith High School. Michael was a talented bassoonist and the drum major for the marching band. I reconnected with him while he was working at Madison´s Restaurant but it had literally been decades since I had seen him. My sympathy to his family and close friends.
