I know that Mickey loved many people and many things. Two things that he loved was going to church and singing hymns. Oh, did he love to sing. I often thought about how he must have sounded to our Lord, knowing that every word and every note was coming from his heart. And, of course he loved Auburn football. A special thanks to Sam Canerday and all the others who made sure Mickey could attend Auburn football games. Thank you Dear Lord for the life of Mickey Thomas. He was a blessing.

Mickey, you brightened everyone's day with your smile & laughter. Thank you. What found memories I have of playing dominoes & cards with you and my daddy..... Oh, how we laughed. See you in heaven some day.

I knew Mickey many years ago at Grandview Pines Church of Christ and visits to Autumn Place. My condolences to his family. May God keep you in his tender loving care during the difficult times.

God needed a special person and coach in heaven so he flew Mickey home. I will miss you Mickey. One last "WAR EAGLE".

I've known Mickey all his life. He was a special person with great love. He was supported by all his family with care and love. I regret I will be unable to attend because of surgery. He is now whole for the first time in his life. God bless the family.

Mickey was a dear friend of my parents. They shared many Auburn experiences and invested time in each others life. My mother would cook for Mickey often. When she would ask him how he liked his eggs cooked, he would simply reply, "you cook, me eat!"
