Not sure what to say?

During the time I managed the Sooner Football Network Mike was a key member of our broadcast crew. From a network of only 19 affiliate radio stations which I inherited, the network grew to become the largest radio network in the world. Mike was very professional and helped attract broadcast stations on a global level.

My condolences to the Treps family. I'll forever have fond memories of Mike.
My first assignment as a rookie photographer at WKY in 1971 was to shoot a sports interview Mike was doing. I've forgotten the details of who and where but I certainly remember my fumbling attempt to load a film camera I had never seen. The start of the interview was delayed as I struggled with the equipment. Instead of being upset, Mike reassured the interview subject, calmly got up and showed me how to get...

Treps Family-May God grant you the peace only He can provide comfort you. Mr. Treps with John Brooks helped bring the Sooners to life on radio for me as a kid in Oklahoma. I loved it. His familiar, friendly voice was welcome in our home for each broadcast. His service to OU is an inspiration.

My Dad Bill Bryan first worked OU Football games with Curt Gowdy in the mid-40's, later did play by play, public address work etc for OU and other sports in the OKC area. He died in 1955 before Mike started his long career in Oklahoma. I never got to know Mike since I moved from Oklahoma in 1960, But I'm sorry to see the passing of another Oklahoma sports broadcasting legend.

I had the honor of working with Mike at WKY-TV. I always thought that Mike had the talent to move up to network television. He was one of the guy, as he would join the news department and stage crew in fall touch football during the lunch hour in the fall.
He will be greatly missed.

Tracy,
My prayers and love I send to you and your family during this time.
