There will never be another Michael. My heart breaks thinking about our collective loss. Time does not heal this sadness. I feel blessed to have counted Michael as a colleague and friend. RIP dear, dear a Michael.

Mike was a wonderful co worker. I loved hearing his stories about trips to Scotland. Sherry, I am so sorry to learn of Mike's passing. RIP Mike.

Jean and I knew Michael for more than a decade mostly from our participation in Scottish events--Burns dinners at the Deerfield Inn, the Glasgow Lands Scottish Festival in Northampton, and others--and from our shared hometown, Northampton. Mike had a way of making you an instant friend and pulling you into his enjoyment of what was going on, and we were no exceptions. We will miss Michael keenly and many a dram of single malt will be raised to his warm and generous spirit.

Mike was a fellow co-worker at the Leeds VAMC for the entire length of his career. as I am still working there [51 years] He Always had time and had my back when I had a problem with working conditions and never backed down to complete the task no matter how small. He held time in the Employee VAEA for several years and put on many projects for young and old. Ty Mike your friend Phil Carme

I had the pleasure of traveling with Mike and the Concordia Youth Chorale to Europe in 1970. I had the opportunity to visit him at the VA in Northampton In the early 2000s and was so pleased to hear how well he had done in his nursing career. I am also a fellow retired RN and now living in The Villages FL with my husband. I remember Mikes beautiful bass voice and enjoyed reading how he continued to enjoy chorale singing throughout his life. Sherry and family we want to send our heartfelt...
