Send FlowersMichelle Hurley passed away at age 65 on August 9, 2018 in Tucson, Arizona. Michelle was born in June 1953 in Bowling Green, Ohio, to the late Yvonne Elene Knauss and the late Adolph Christ Knauss. Michelle graduated from high school in Manitou Springs, Colorado. She was the beloved wife of Wayne Hurley (Tucson, AZ). She was preceded in death by her brothers, Wiliam Knauss and Kenneth Knauss; and sister, Glennie Knauss. Michelle is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tamelene & Geoff Racy; and sisters, Jackie Christy and Duttie Gummer. Michelle had a big heart and was loved by all who knew her. She also had a love for animals and to some, was known as "Snow White". She could bond with any wild or domestic animal. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Michelle's name to the Pima Animal Care Center. A memorial service will be Saturday, October 13, 2018, at 11:00 am at Lambert Lane Bible Fellowship. (16275 W. Lambert Lane, Marana, AZ 85653) Her ashes will be taken to Pikes Peak, Colorado Springs, CO.

Michelle was the best friend anyone could ever have... I know because she was my best friend for 38 yrs. She gave me strength when I felt weak & kept me grounded so many times when things got tough.
She was always there to comfort anyone in need! She loved her animals, her family & especially her daughter Tami!
I miss her so much!!
R.I.P. my dear friend..... Heaven has gained a true Angel!
