Michael "Mike" Baker a long time personal friend of my wife and I. Mike was a friend in the good and bad times to us always. We found him to always find the time, space, and willingness to converse personally or professionally. His quite manner was soft spoken, polite, mannerly combined with an unique sense of humor.

Our friendship commenced sometime in the seventies until this present day. Mike will be sorely missed and his passing will leave a...

I was fortunate to have worked for Mike early in both of our careers. Mike was a very kind and caring person - the best boss I ever had. He will be missed.

My condolences to the Baker's family. I'm very sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort be with you at this difficult time and be comfort by God'sWord in 2 Cor.1:2,4, and be strengthen by God's promises in Jer29.11,

May the special memories of Mike continue with you ,until you see him again . Hosea 13:14.

When I first started working for the Prosecutor's Office, Mike would come in for files and I would ask, "Mr. Baker, how can I help you?" and he would kind of half smile and say .."just Mike, no Mister". He was always kind and considerate, even when he was frustrated with how slow the system sometimes ran. Rest in peace Mr Baker, you will be missed

I remember Mike as one of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure to know. He was generous and thoughtful -- just a wonderful human being. He made the world a better place.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mike was one the kindest people I have ever known. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Mike was a good, kind, thoughtful, caring person. He was quiet and effective as an attorney; however, I could never understand why he enjoyed sitting in sub-zero weather waiting for the ducks. He always thought Mizzou was the best football team in the country, even in those seasons where they lost a lot more than they won. If you were his friend, you were lucky indeed.

Mike was a great person! I appreciate everything you did for me! RIP MIKE
