Mike Byrd

Mike was a great guy and it was an honor to have known him since we were kids in the Heights.

I only knew Mike for a few years but I feel I am a better man for having known him even though it was for such a short time. My most favorite memory of Mike is from Savanna's first birthday party where he and I out of the blue became a singing duo and had everyone in stitches laughing. I will always miss you Mike but you have left an incredible legacy with your wonderful family that will never be forgotten

Flash was a great guy who did great things! He was my brother in law and I will greatly miss him. We had the best of times over the last 30 or so years. Riding down krome avenue with you and Terry when I was just 12 what a great time. You will be missed, but your love goes on forever. Toots, I love ya...I'm here if you need me.

I met Mike through professional organizations and developed a great respect for his passion and enthusiam for what he did. He loved his work and willingly shared his knowledge with anyone that asked. He was a man of professionalism, integrity and good manners.

As the years went by Mike and I became personal friends. I count him as one of my true friends. Mike was always there. He will be missed by many.

To Mike's whole family, I offer my sympathy. My prayers are with you. Mike showed that children from South Miami Heights can grow up to excel and go on to greatness. Mike was always freindly and considerate. He will be greatly missed by everyone.May God bless his soul and watch over those he has left behind.
