Not sure what to say?

Eight years have passed since Mike went to his eternal home, and not a day has passed that we have not had fond memories of him. Re-reading all of these dear messages of condolence is amazing and heart warming. Thank you, every one of you. Mike´s legacy is strongly evidenced in our children and grandchildren, as well as many students and players. We are ever so grateful for all the time we had with him. Ecclesiastes 7:8 Our love to all...Kay and family

I would like to echo my original comments. He is missed by many. May he continue to rest in peace and may Kay and his family find continued strength in coping with their loss.

My wife Bev and I have known Mike and Kay's family ( as well as Kay's sister's family-the Hamiltons) since the mid 60's. All three families were involved with athletics, and achieved a high degree of success. Just heard of the passing of Coach Heck during my last phone call from my mother. I was saddened, but have been thinking of the positive influence he had in Rossford through the years. I became more connected to the Heck family as Coach Hamilton was my track coach at The Citadel. Praying for the family! May God bless in the days to come.

Kay and family,
We are very saddened by the news of Coach passing on, but we know that he is surrounded by love and greatness. I've taken the many lessons that Coach taught me and continue to try and pass them on to my players and students. He loved every one of his "boys", and we knew it. God Bless Coach!

So very sorry for your loss. Mike was a wonderful, husband, father, and grandfather and friend. He will always stay in all our hearts. Love and Blessings to you all. Don and Ann Fritner

This is from 1960. Mike is 3rd from the left in the middle row. The only guy faster to first base was his dad, John.

Dear Kay,
So sad to learn of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Peggy (Conrad) and John Zachman

My sincerest sympathies on the loss of a kind and generous man .
