Mike you are a GREAT man. We will miss the Moon Man and his hillarious life words. I never met you, but respected you. ST. LOUIS be proud, we lost a TRUE Cardinal. Mike Moon Man Shannon. RIP

MOON MAN, SHANNON THE CANNON! I only knew Mike as a great 3rd baseman, filling the replacement of another 3rd baseman, Ken Boyer. WOW, What an impressive infield St. Louis had. Shannon at 3rd, Maxwell at short stop, Javier at 2nd and a multitude of out standing men at 1st base. WOW, can they get any better!!!!! Then the outfield, Brock in left, Flood in center and Orlando Cepeda in right.

As a DEVOTED 3rd baseman, I salute the great legend, Mike Shannon. I will never forget sneaking down to see the great 3rd baseman Mike fill the slot of all time great Ken Boyer, who desrves to be a CARDINAL, Hall of Famer......... Mike was a GREAT man and will ALWAYS, be remembered. GOD REST your soul MIKE. Forever a Cardinal! Godspeed my friend.

Our deepest condolences to the family. We pray that God continues to strengthen and comfort the family during this difficult period.

Mike was a good man. Thank you Sir, for sharing your life with us all. Forever a Cardinal! Godspeed my friend.
