Not sure what to say?

OH NO!!! Mike Terry is dead. I don't believe it.
I literally cant believe it.
This musical titan completely owned club entertainment in the 70's and 80's.

This bloke was the bees knees! What a performer! Strutting about the stage like a beautiful pansy peacock, warbling with finesse.

RIP Mike, Goodbye Mike, you really were the best! Nobody did it better!

when I was on holiday in Cleethorpes I saw mike terry do his show at ballroom there. I jusyt liked all his piano playing and he sung ever so nice songs which I used to listen to in the good old days like "the wine is there" and "the gypsy". he was a big lad and his show was so long but I always wanted to see him again but as im in a home now and have no legs anymore its difficult. my friend, tutu, told me that he is now dead. I cried when I found out.

Mr Terry was a highlight of our many holidays to the resort of Benidorm over a period of many years when my partner Abdul was alive , bless him.
We used to love visiting "Talk Of The Town" nightclub and seeing Mike perform his charismatic, and always, entertaining songs.
A highlight for me was when Abdul, myself and Mike joined in around the old honkytonk piano for a tear-jerking rendition of Abdul's favourite ever song "FEELINGS". The heart warming reaction from...

One of the best. Had some great nights with him at his shows. You are now with your friend Tony. R.I.P both of you

If heartaches brought fame, in loves crazy game, id be a legend in my time! Never has a truer word been sang, and that line from the great Mike Terry (Wakefield) himself! Absolute loss to the entertainment world, next you are going to tell me one of the Chuckle Brothers has passed away! RIP Mike you hero!

Poor Mike.
I performed alongside him in Skegness, Cromer and Leeds in some variety shows back in the late 70's. What a laugh a minute this man was! Had me in bloody stitches with his impressions and risqué jokes. You would never get away with telling them ones now!!
Brilliant pianist, beautiful voice, beautiful man.

Sadness, oh sadness for my best music performance Mike Terry from the Wakefield. Tears and cry for the end of Mike Terry life. Will never forgotten the Mike Terry song and pianos. Upset but always have the beautiful memoirs of Mike Terry of Wakefield. My best ever singer.

I initially met Michael when he was in residency at the "Talk Of The Town" nightclub and bar in Benidorm some years ago. I recall him being wonderful company and met him regularly at the local farmers market bright and early in the mornings purchasing freshly caught fish and freshly baked bread. A very pleasant and uncomplicated gentleman who was a wonderful raconteur and a damn fine vocalist. Sad news to hear of him departing this World.
