Not sure what to say?

Just last night I was telling my granddaughter about Mrs Abbott because she is struggling with reading Shakespeare. Mrs Abbott reading it and understanding it so easy. She was such a great teacher. I even used to go to her house occasionally to visit her and Susan.

As a fellow teacher at Seneca since I came there in 1970, I grew to know Mildred and to be very fond of her. She was one of the kindest and dearest people I have ever known. We lost contact in later years, but I can truly say. Her passing will leave a hollow spot in my life. Rest, well, Mildred Abbott. You deserve it.

Roy, I'm just learning of Mildred's passing. You were both THE BEST neighbors to my Mother and I thank you for it! I've thought so many times of stopping in to see you both, but didn't think it would be a good idea unannounced. I'll put a note in the mail so you can contact me. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Roy.

Clinton, please accept my condolences on the death of your mother. I remember her as being a lovely person. I'm sorry for you and the family, but I'm glad that you loved her for so long.

Mrs. Abbott was my senior ('66) English teacher and to this day, I enjoy reading English literature. I still think of her standing in front of our class from time to time, especially when I'm reading. Thank you, Mrs. Abbott.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs Abbott was one of my favorite teachers. I have fond memories of listening to her read and explain Shakespere and visiting her and Susan at her house.

R.I.P. Mrs. Abbott. Sending prayers of comfort for the family.

Please remember the good times you've shared with Mildred and may God continue to comfort your family ~ Psalm 23:4.
