Molly loved everybody and everybody loved Molly. She was a true Christian in that she never held ill will towards anyone. She always had a hug, a kiss and a smile for all those she met. Molly is survived by her children, Thomas R. Willett and wife Elizabeth of Salem, daughter Kimberlee Jo Devany and husband John of Ardmore, PA, and daughter Darla Rae Girone of Wirtz; a brother David DeGroff of Omaha, NE, a sister-in-law MaryJane Willett Puckett of Amherst and a step-mother, Hanna DeGroff Martin, 100, of Harlingen, TX; four nieces and nephews, seven grandchildren, and friends both near and far.

A celebration of life service will be held at Central United Methodist Church in Salem, VA on Sunday January 17th at 2pm with light refreshments to follow.

I am glad I was at Molly's Remembrance Service which honored her memory so perfectly.
Molly was a gift to all who knew her and I surely am glad that I had her in my life and could call her "friend." I remember the fun times we had when Mike and all of you were young children. Her joy for life was endless.
It was meaningful to see how her values and personality is living on in her grandchildren.
Much love to Tom, Kim and Darla,
Peggy Byrd

Our relationship with her and your dad commenced about 60 years ago as "BIG John" & I worked together at the WSLS radio/television Center...then served as co-managers of WSLS/ WSLC & Q99 in Salem.. ...precious memories of early days in broadcasting..and developing families. Wishing God's blessings be with you. Herm & Sue Reavis>>>

What a beautiful soul and kind grandma! She always treated me as part of the family, even though I'm just a friend of her granddaughter, Kristen. What a fiesty, kind-hearted woman with a strong sense of self and a stubborn streak to be proud of. ;) I remember when she broke her back she was still trying to wander around the house to clean and garden... a Willett tradition of fighting the good fight even through injury and illness. I know she's up in heaven with Grandpa John and that they are having a lovely time together again. And the woman could rock a red lip like no other grandma I know! <3 She will be sorely missed but happily remembered. xoxox -Meg
