My department had the honor of standing watch for FF Bridges. It was with deep reflection that we accepted the honor and reflected on his sacrifice. His selfless giving renewed our spirits to be thankful and humble providers of care to those that we serve. His example is emblazened in our spirits. It is obvious why his loss is so painful, because he was a man of great character. I pray in the days ahead, that the family will find peace that passes all understanding and will rest upon the arms...

Morris Bridges came into my life only a few years back. When his family made the transition to West my home became him and his families home for a few months. The love I have in my heart for each and every member of his family is not able to be measured by any earthly scale. I will sorely miss Morris. A few weeks ago while at a birthday party, my husband (also a first responder)and I were a approached by a man with a big hand shake and an even bigger smile. He spoke highly of his children and his young son Jaimeson. He spoke to us as if he'd known my husband forever.
