Not sure what to say?

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your loved one. May the wonderful memories of your loved one continue to provide a measure of comfort to you until Gods promise is fulfilled at Matthews 5: 5.

I never had the honor to fly with Doug, though I know pilots that have. All agreed he was an extraordinary pilot. I do know first-hand the great omelets I've enjoyed at the EAA 555 breakfasts. May GOD bless Doug's new set of wings.

Doug was an amazing man - a best friend ... He always treated me as if I was very important ... He will be missed terribly ... May God comfort & bless his family ... This just crushes me because I sold him the aircraft N8338S

I was very sorry to hear of Doug's passing. I rented airplanes from Adventure Aviation for several years after I got my private pilot license. Doug was always friendly, and happy to share his aviation knowledge with me.

I can't recall a day at the airport without Doug's tremendous presence. His support and love of aviation was apparent in everything he did. He was a joy to visit with and I will miss him. God's speed, Doug. Prayers and thoughts are with his family and all his friends.

His kindness, sense of humor, story telling and incredible teaching/piloting skill...spent many hours with Doug and had a lot of fun learning to fly.
He taught me well...I'll never forget him. I sure will miss him...he died doing what he loved...Fly fast into the Commander's evening sky! God bless you Doug.
