Not sure what to say?

Rev Shearin was a dynamic leader in the Washington area who was in the vanguard of social change. I enjoyed working with him as a writer for the Washington Post.

Mrs. Shearin and family. Our hearts we're saddened at the passing of Dr. Morris Shearin. Our paths crossed at Wake Chapel Baptist Church, Raleigh, North Carolina. Dr. Shearin was an Associate Minister there back in the mid- 1970s. He was a great preacher. May God comfort you and give you peace.

To Mrs. Shearin and Family:

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

To Mrs. Shearin and Family. We offer our deepest sympathy in the loss of Rev. Shearin. May the memories of him and his legacy live on in your hearts, minds and spirit. There are no words to ease your pain, but with time and with God we pray the pain will ease. May God continue to bless you and the family.

Both Nicholas and I are deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved Pastor Shearin. He was kind, gentle and humble and we loved him dearly. He offered prayers many times for the Porter family and we are forever grateful. He will forever be missed. Sending prayers of peace and comfort to Mrs. Shearin and family.

My deepest heartfelt sympathy to Mrs. Shearin and the entire family in the loss of Rev. Dr. Shearin. He has meant so much to so many. You'll have so many memories and so many thankful and grateful years. May God Bless and keep you at this time of sorrow.

First Lady Shearin and Family, you have my deepest sympathy on the passing of Dr. Shearin. He will be deeply missed by all whose life he touched. He was an inspiration at our (MMBC'S) Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
