Not sure what to say?

Rabbi Morton Pomerantz was my colleague and friend at Long Island Developmental Center in Melville for many years. He was an advocate for right and good, and spoke for the special people who lived there as well as the staff that served them. His intelligence, wit and sense of humor carried many a day. He enjoyed a meal at my home. We all enjoyed his company. I was sorry to learn of his death when a note I mailed was returned to me. He will be missed.

Rabbi Pomerantz was a longtime Friend. Over these many years,he never declined an invitation to speak before a group or at a Dinner. His words were always inspirational and informative. He was a True Man of God, a Guide,a Mentor, Veteran and an American Patriot. We will miss Him and will not see his like again.

Condolences. Morton was a part of my life
for a short time. I will miss him.
Marilyn R. Wolf

Rabbi Pomerantz' Jewish, Italian, Greek and military roots uniquely represented our community. When NYC Tribune shut down, he ran the Guardian by fax from his apartment until it became Chris Ruddy's Newsmax. He was a friend of Fr Volaitis from oralityinmedia.org. He proved his support for the right to life by ministering to children in the state mental health institutions no matter what indignities they spewed on him. He always went the extra mile, going wherever his prayers were needed,...

It was a pleasure to know you and, always, a delight and an education to listen to you when you spoke. Thank you for your military and religious service to our country. You made us proud. Karel Birnbaum Di Pietro and Michael A. Di Pietro, retired Marine

Rabbi you were a blessing to all who knew you.
How can you describe a person and their life in a few sentences. Words can't convey the true person you were.
God chose you and you obeyed by devoting your life to him.
Your suffering is over, you are now with the Lord. May you rest peace
We will miss you

For many years, Rabbi Pomerantz served on the board of directors of our organization, Morality in Media. He was a fount of wisdom and inspiration as well as a wonderful spiritual presence to us. We will miss him!
Patrick A. Trueman, President

This incredible man will be truly missed. Rabbi was a good friend to us and an "uncle" to our children. He was always ready to cheer on our children's accomplishments, wrote letters of recommendation for college entries or job applications, did the Benediction at our daughter's wedding, called frequently to keep up to date on our family, and was always loving and caring. We who have had our lives touched by him are truly blessed. Rest in peace, dear friend.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
