In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

To the Davis family:
You have our deepest sympathy. Moses and I were Elementary and High School classmates in Bedford County, Virginia. My God continue to bless and keep you in this time of sorrow.

To the Ducksworth & Davis family
My sincere condolences, my prayers are with you all. May god give you strength at this time of sorrow.
Kep holding on to God's unchainging hands.

Joe/Raf, So sorry to hear about your dad passing. What a beautiful man he was, always the steady hand and the voice of reason. I know you, your mom and the whole family will miss him deeply. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
