Not sure what to say?

Aunt Myrt, I always felt like I had a special bond with you because I was born on your birthday. I'll never forget how you told me about the day I was born. You ran out to the tractor to tell Uncle Joe, "Alta had two!!" I have all those memories of how we celebrated our birthdays together at St. Valentine's picnic in Beaver. Thank you for all the home-made goodies when our whole family would stop over for a visit. You always made me feel so special all the nights I stayed the night with...

You will be missed. Alot of memories.

I'm so glad I got to know aunt Myrt. She had the most joyful eyes and such a kind heart. She truly knew the value of family and if even a little bit of that wisdom rubbed off on me, I'll be a lucky woman.

We both have fond memories of Mrs. McInerney from our years at Hampton Elementary. She was truly a special woman who made the world a better place. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I was saddened to hear of the loss of this amazing woman. Myrt was the heart and soul of Hampton School for so many years. Children and staff look forward to her arrival each day. She showed genuine concern and affection for us all. I can still picture her holding one end of a jumprope, putting a bandage on a scraped knee, bending over a desk to help a child with schoolwork. By her example, she taught us all. Her dedication, honesty and love added so much to our lives. We will miss her...

Aunt Myrt has always been such an inspiration to me---her compassion for others, her humor, and her faith in God never waivered. She had the wonderful ability to tell stories and bring to life the childhood she and her brothers and sisters shared growing up on the farm.

Mickey and Joseph, I am sorry about your mom and that I cannot be there in person to hug you and pray with you, but please know that in my heart I am there with you all. Love, Lou Ann (granddaughter of Ambrose,...

I have very fond memories or Mrs. McInerney. I was one of many children who attended Hampton School. Not only do I have many good memories from school, I also had the wonderful memories of her sitting in the front row with her husband at church. My mother played the organ at church, (there were eight of us Oswald kids) and during the Christmas play, Mrs. M. would make sure we all behaved. She was the most kind-hearted woman I ever knew. Our prayers are with you. From the entire Oswald...

Celebrating Myrt's BD with our family

Aunt Myrt was one of a kind. She was so kind to adopt all her nieces and nephews as her own. Her generosity will never be forgotten. She was so kind to visit my dad every day when he was in the nursing home. I am sure that Leo was there to greet her into her new home in heaven and had the cards all dealt out.
