Nancy graduated from Butler High School (PA) and worked for many years as an administrative assistant, where she enjoyed her time in the Johnstown elementary school and at Denison University.  After supporting her children through college, Nancy graduated from THE Ohio State University.  She was a Deputy Registrar for the State of Ohio and owned and operated TJ’s Buckeye Driving School in the last chapter of her professional life.

Nancy and her family lived in Johnstown, Ohio, for more than 40 years, where she attended the Johnstown United Methodist Church.  She supported her children, her church, and her community with her time and talents for many years.  She used her journalism skills to write for several central Ohio newspapers.  Nancy  and Gary liked to vacation in the Smoky Mountains and Florida, where they had a vacation property at Alligator Park in Punta Gorda. She enjoyed quilting and reading and loved many pets, especially dogs, throughout her life.  Nancy’s memory will be cherished by her family and long-time friends.

Not sure what to say?

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

To Nancy´s family: We are so sorry to learn of Nancy´s passing. I worked with Nancy at Nationwide Insurance in Butler, PA before she and Gary were married. She was always so much fun and lighthearted. Your parents and my husband and I had many good times together. We visited with them when they first moved to Ohio. Great memories. Our sympathy and prayers to all of you.

We are very sorry to hear of your mother’s death. We had good visits in Florida and we always enjoyed her company. Earl and Judy Newberg

Your sweet smile always lit up any room. Lisa and family you have my deepest sympathy.
Linda Banyay
