Not sure what to say?

Polly, your mother was a truly lovely and talented woman who enriched my life through outstanding hospitality, wonderful dinners, and sound practical advice on many issues.

My condolences to the Davis family. I remember Nancy well from her years as a dedicated nurse at Trenton Psychiatric Hospital. She was one of the first to be involved in our transitional cottage program and was a role model for many of the staff members as she believed any job worth doing was worth doing well. We hope that her legacy of devotion to her patients lives on at TPH.

Peace to the Davis family. Our family also has wonderful memories with Nancy, Ed, and Jane. We miss them all.

One of my favorite memories of Nancy is how she helped my mom, Polly, sew clothes that actually fit me. Thanks, Nancy, for helping me avoid an entire childhood of having ball fringe and rick-rack sewn to the hems of store-bought pants to make them long enough for me! She was a wonderful women, and our family loved her dearly.

Our love to Nancy's family who are blessed to have had such a special mother and grandmother and great grandmother - she is our father's cousin and the last in a long line of very family oriented kind folks from Massachusetts. My Dad spoke so lovingly of her and Ed. We feel very fortunate to have had a relative that was not only special but also good company, laughed a lot, sharp on the goings on in the world and loved her church. Nancy had a generous life but I wish she hadn't left us...

To Nancy's family & friends: We were good friends and neighbors ever since we moved across the street on Nottingham Way. We remember the good card games we played, our men shoveling snow in the bad storms we got over the years. Either Nancy or I would make a big pot of stew or soup for when our snow-shovelers were done working. We all had fun joining in the picnics during the Summer. All of those wonderful memories we have with us still, even though we live way down south in Florida. ...
