Nancy O Fitzhugh

It was not until I passed through Walker last week that I found out about the passing of Nancy. Somehow she was that old friend that I never thought to look up on Face Book. Now I'm kicking myself. She was the sweet girl who worked in the college's financial office who always took pity on us lonely college students, inviting us over to her mom's house for home cooked meals. I last saw her in 1990 while on business in the Walker area. I wish to extend belated, yet very sincere condolences to...

God speed Nancy. I know your pain is gone as you walk with our Lord Jesus but we will miss you here with us. Smile down us when you can and know you are loved.

So very sorry Brooks for your loss. I know you will miss her greatly. Our prayers are with you. No one can every replace the love of mother and daughter. Lean on your family and children. They will and can get you through more than you know.

The world is a darker place without Nancy in it. Rest In Peace.

There will never be another Nancy! She was the ultimate friend. We have laughed together, cried together & laughed some more. I will cherish every moment we shared. Nancy always put others first, no matter the situation. I will miss her more than words can say. I wish there could be one more late night phone call. One thing I know for sure, our Nancy is in no more pain and she is resting in the loving arms of our God.
I pray God wraps his arms around her family & showers them with comfort.

I am so sorry you are no longer with us. There were so many more years to spend as "meme". You will be missed.

I will never forget Nancy's wonderful laugh or her kind ways. My sincerest condolences to Nancy's family, especially her dear mother, Shirley.
