Thinking of all of Nancy's family growing up on Knox Street. I was sorry to read about Nancy this morning in the paper, have not seen her in a long time. I send my deepest sympathy and prayers to all of you. Ellen Hinshaw Young

Rest In Peace sweet Friend.... I have so many childhood memories of Nancy. She was my best friend growing up on West Knox Street in Durham. I am so thankful we were able to reconnect about 5 years ago and we managed to keep in touch. Heaven has certainly gained a a very special angel❤

Nancy was a very special lady.She holds a special place in my heart. We loved having her in our Sunday school class. She will be missed by many. Rest now Nancy, we'll done. You have won the fight.

A wonderful friend, strong woman, devoted mother and grandmother. I remember our times at West Durham Youth Center when we were teenagers. My best memory was when Patsy and I spent our birthdays with Nancy at OD in 2006. We are March babies, Patsy and Nancy the 4th and mine the 7th.
