Nancy Carol Richards

I miss my friend, who was myacross the street neighbor, mother of 2 sons who were childhood playmates of my 2 daughters. Brian and my daughter Karen are still playmates today, but they have a larger playground in Heaven, where Nancy is looking over them. Chris, I think of your mom often and do miss her dearly.

Nancy was the neighbor across the street in Andover who I could always count on. She was there for me when my husband died in 1970 and her two sons Bryan and Christopher were my two daughters Karen and Diane best friends. When Karen died in 2001 she was the person I could talk to and when Bryan died a few years later we consoled each other once again. I always enjoyed my visits with her whenever I returned to Vermont and Connecticut to visit family and friends. I will miss her dearly and...

Thank you Nancy for your guidance and leadership that I've tried to emulate in my career. I think back at how you expressed calm wisdom, hard work and caring that inspired us to grow as a team. I also remember your creative holiday poems that found a way to mention each one of us. Thank you for those times.
