Nanette Smith

After he retired, Lady Smith's husband Sir Victor "remained active in retirement supporting worthy causes" (to quote the FAA Association). One of them was as initial President of Canberra One-Parent Family Support Service from 1978, (COPFS) offering a variety of support to one-parent families in Canberra and Queanbeyan (as part of the Australian National Birthright Movement - later re-named the National Lone-Parent Family Support Service).
