I am the daughter of Matt Herring (deceased). He worked with Neal for years at BellSouth. I also knew Neal as I worked in accounting. Neal was a special friend of my father's. They spent many lunch hours together and after my father retired, Neal called him every couple of weeks and they enjoyed those conversations so much.
