Not sure what to say?

Dear Betty and Brent,
Our prayers are with you . Neil was one of the coffe shop men who always had time to talk with my dad and he appreciated that. when Daddy could n longer get out he came by the house and visited with him several times. He had a cowboy story and Daddy had an airplane story.

Neil was a great friend and co-worker. He always had a very firm hug for me and Cindy on every visit, which told me that he did really care. He will be greatly missed. Be at peace my friend.

I had many good times with Neil. I was one grade behind Neil in High school in Curtis. Was around him and his family a lot. Loved all of them. I extend my sympathy to the family and with them.

Our hearts go out to Betty and Brent as we know how much they loved Neil and will miss him. We have many wonderful memories of the time we spent with Neil. He was family to us and we to him. We will always remember the "old cowboy" stories that I repeatedly asked him to tell over and over. Stories that were better than fiction and were just as good the 100 th time as they were the first time. Neil would always tell them again for me . When my own Father passed away and I was over come with...

Neil was my friend and my mentor. He was my benchmark of how to conduct yourself and present yourself in the western sales world. He was always one of the first in line to congratulate you if something good had come your way and always listen and give a helping hand if something didn't go right. There will be an empty spot at Denver market but we know he's not far away as long as all his friends can stand together and remember him. My hat's off to you Neil...Jim Shaykett (from up in the Dakotas)

Neil will be greatly missed. It was a joy to work with him over my 20 years at Bailey. He was loved very much by all. Rest in peace Neil.

My relationship with Neil, from Canada and so far away, was twice annualy at Sales Meetings. Our relationship at Bailey Hat Company was over more than 20 years, and even though our meetings were infrequent, my memories of our chats together will always be remembered for knowing the fine upstanding gentleman that he was, to the " nth " degree! He was so knowledgeable, kind and always willing to bend an ear, to hear what we all had to say, giving us good sound...

It is with deep regret that I learned of Neil's passing. As a fellow Bailey rep, I enjoyed our chats at the meeting and Denver market. Neil's wisdom and wit will be missed at the coming market.

Even though I did not know Mr. Samuels I would have liked to have told him thank you for being involved with the Scottish Rite Hospital. Because of people like him I am able to walk right now. I was one of those handicapped children that he cared so much about.
