Dr. Swinton was my physician for five years before he retired. He was kind, generous, competent, respectful, and caring. He was a great doctor, and worthy of all the good words people have to say about him.

We just learn today of this sad news and think of you in your geeat pain. We wish you courage among the love of your family during these very sorrowful times.

I am truly saddened to hear of my good friend Neil's passing. To his wife and children I offer my deepest sympathy. Neil and I became friendswhen he first came to Burlington to direct the primary unit before Lahey made their move to bring the hospital here. In those early days many people thought it was an emergency facility and often very urgent patients would appear in front of Neil.
