Neill Herbert Alford Jr.

Guest Book

Not sure what to say?

Probably the best teacher I had at any level of schooling. Knowledgeable, avuncular, a wry wit, always gracious.

We were so sorry to hear of Neill's passing. I still remember meeting Neill and Elizabeth on the trail at Lake Quinault Lodge and corresponding with them all these many years. You all are in our thoughts and prayers. Our deepest sympathys, Geoff and Arnita Skews

MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO YOU ALL FOR YOUR LOSS. YOU ARE IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.
TOM WAS A GOOD FRIEND AND PLAYMATE MANY YEARS AGO AND HAS OFTEN BEEN IN MY THOUGHTS OVER THE YEARS.
MAY GOD BLESS AND COMFORT YOU ALL.

Neill and Margaret,
Our prayers to you and your families as you celebrate your father's life.

I never had the opportunity to meet Prof Alford, but feel I know him as I became good friends with his son, Eli. I was obvious from talking with Eli what a great man, a role model, and public servant his Dad was for all of those lucky enough to know him. Knowing Eli and learning about his Dad, it is nice to see the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Prof Alford was one of my favorite professors. I will always remember how he referred to his "predecessors in title" when referencing the people that owned his house before he did. He will be missed by many.

Neill and Pattie,
We were sorry to read of your Dad's passing. What a marvelous life he had! You are in our thoughts and prayers.

You have our deepest Sympathy. We will always
remember how good ""son"" was to his Mom
and how she looked forward to his visit eacch day.
