Mrs. Nellie Marie Gilley 86 of Kirkwood Avenue went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born January 24, 1922 in Brushfork, She was the daughter of the late Edward P. and Laura (Hedrick) Terry. Now joining the love of her life for over 68 years, Robert. Mrs. Gilley was a homemaker and loving wife and mother to her children. She worked a few years outside the home, but she loved being there for her family, so chose a more domestic life and loving home for everyone to come home to. She was a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church on the Oakvale road in Princeton. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Princeton Chapter 355. She was a former member of the M.C.E.O.C. Club and the Joy Fellowship. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Gilley, also an infant daughter, Joyce Marie Gilley. Two brothers, Kenneth and Donald Terry. Four Sisters, Mildred Tabor, Helen Davis, Carrie T. Schenck and Vergie Bailey and a son-in-law, David Fuller. Survivors left to cherish her memory Son Robert L. Gilley and wife Tracy of Nome, Alaska Daughters Donna (Gilley) Fuller Iris (Gilley) Midkiff and husband Timothy all of Princeton 10 Grandchildren 7 Great Grandchildren 1 Great Great Grandson Brother Clarence Terry and wife Viola of Milford, NJ Several Nieces and Nephews Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 1:00 PM from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Wallace Smith and Reverend Glen Hornbuckle officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens on the Courthouse road in Princeton. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 18, 2008 from 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home.
