Our heavy hearts are laden with sorrow as we mourn the loss of our beloved Grandma. Words to bear the profound influence her life, faith and love has had on family, are scarce. The span of her life in a century of such great change had not been lost on Grandma either. Our dear friend Nell and Dave go back a long time, often remembering the time Nell took Dave to the hospital after he broke his nose playing baseball at age 12. Later, we shared many memories of Karen's hometown, Atwood/Ellsworth area. She was a very special lady, one we will forever treasure the memories of. We are so sorry we cannot be at her memorial service and take this opportunity to express our sympathy to her family.
