Betty and Geneva, your mother exemplified strength and perserverance in the face of many tragedies and unfortunate circumstances. I have known Nana for many years. She was so generous, kind and loving, and I always enjoyed her stories from her childhood in Norfolk. My ties to her as the great grand mother of my two little grand children will always remain with me. I am glad that I saw her and spent some time with her, the day after Thanksgiving, 2010. I will always remember all our talks. We had the
