Neta Hare Pearson, 92, of Lynchburg, passed away Friday, November 14, 2025. She was the wife of the late Harry Eugene Pearson of Lynchburg.
Neta was born on December 22, 1932, in Talladega, Alabama to the late Marion and Ethel Hare. She was active in her community and church, Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church. Neta retired from Delta Star as an executive secretary after many years of dedicated service.
Neta is survived by her daughters, Marsha Burks of Lynchburg and Patricia Lane (Steve) of New Market, AL; five grandchildren, Christopher Congo (Tamara) of Camden, TN, Michael Pearson (David) of New York City, NY, Thomas Lane of Huntsville, AL, Jessica Gaines (Grant) of Huntsville, AL, Jospeh Lane (Sable) of New Market, AL, and Shannon Godfrey of Huntsville, AL, and six great-grandchildren.
The family will hold a private memorial service for Neta at a later date.
