Not sure what to say?

Dear Mr. Knisley,

I am saddened at the passing of Nevelyn. Although I never met her, I have been inspired by her example. From the tributes I have read here and the legacy she has left at LVC and the community, I know that heaven is an even better place with her in it. I had the good fortune of receiving the Knisely Award at LVC a number of years ago and had wanted to meet her. My father who recently turned 90 passed away this June from a long struggle with Alzheimer's as well....

Dear Roger,

So thankful to have known and been a part of Nevelyn's life and her involvement at the Annville UMC. You and Nevelyn have made lasting impressions on our family and the local Annville community and beyond. Grace and Peace to you and your family.

Pastor Cliff and Wendy Flick

Our deepest sympathies to Roger, Valerie and the extended Knisely family.

Our deepest sympathies to all of you. Nevelyn was so very patient in teaching both of my children, Pres and Liz. Her love was apparent to all who were near. Extra hugs to Roger.

Dear Roger and family,

We love Nevelyn. In fact we love both Roger and Nevelyn. She taught piano to our daughters. She was firm in instruction and compassionate in redirection. Such a loving and spiritually mature person, we were so saddened to hear about the terrible disease that took away her mind and incredible talents before God took her soul home. I don't know whether Karen Umberger was one of her students, but Karen is and LVC grad so I'm guessing she had some instruction...

Wishing you all comfort and peace at this difficult time. Nevelyn taught my girls piano. I also knew her as a faculty member at LVC and a neighbor on Maple St. She was a gift to our world.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
