I am very sorry to hear of Nick's passing. I had the pleasure of collaborating with him and his group as a graduate student and he was a wonderful individual as well as scientist. My deepest sympathies to the Turro family

good night, greatman.

Dear Sandy,

Please accept our deepest condolences. Nick was part of our family. More than a teacher, he was a great human being. We will always cherish the memories we had together.

Dear Sandy,

I was shocked to hear about Nick's passing. A great teacher, scholar and I will always cherish my association with him and you at Columbia during my days at Ciba. May God bless his soul and give you and your family strength during these difficult days.
