After John died I sent a condolence card to Nicole but never heard back---she was a friend and a colleague (my court reporter) and part of my extensive PiPhi connection. Nicole and I were 'twin flames' as UCLA Pi Beta Phi advisors. She named me 'The Dirt Queen', due to my instance on our sorority lawn be completely covered with grass, flowers, and topiaries. Nicole's nickname was 'Big Guns', as we spent weeks, getting a bogus recruitment infraction reversed. We fought it all the way to Washington DC. So sad to hear about Nicole. She was always so lovely to me when she was our Pi Phi advisor. She was so supportive of me when my own mother passed away. I am glad she ended up with the fairy tale life that she had dreamed of.

Christy, I have feeling so sad about Nicole...but also feeling very blessed to have her as a cousin ~who was more like an Aunt to me...I miss you and hope we can get the family together soon...so many great holidays and childhood memories...although you may not know it, you two have always been a HUGE inspiration to me!
