Carter-Forsythe, Nicole May 27, 1941 - May 11, 2010Nicole Carter-Forsythe was the quintessential "California Girl." Her birth, in Pasadena, on May 27, 1941, to parents Mike and Frances Carter, proved to be the right time and the right place for this beautiful, effervescent blonde to begin her...

Not sure what to say?

After John died I sent a condolence card to Nicole but never heard back---she was a friend and a colleague (my court reporter) and part of my extensive PiPhi connection. For years we worked out together at the Century West Club every single day and she took me to the Turf Club one racing day before she met John. Only now, in 2025 do I understand why I never heard back from her. . . as she had her own cancer battle going on at the same time as John's. I never got to tell her that when she...

Whomever wrote this beautiful obituary...thank you. Although,I’m sad for their loved ones loss of such a couple that seemed to just make the world a better place; knowing their story & reading the love from whomever wrote this obituary is ABSOLUTELY HEARTWARMING—brings a sweet happiness to all that read it & to their loved ones it helps soothe the loss.

Nicole and I were 'twin flames' as UCLA Pi Beta Phi advisors. She named me 'The Dirt Queen', due to my instance on our sorority lawn be completely covered with grass, flowers, and topiaries. Nicole's nickname was 'Big Guns', as we spent weeks, getting a bogus recruitment infraction reversed. We fought it all the way to Washington DC. Her intelligence, charm, and dynamic, loving charisma won the day. Her positive energy and ability to see the good in everyone, was always her Trump card. She...

So sad to hear about Nicole. She was always so lovely to me when she was our Pi Phi advisor. She was so supportive of me when my own mother passed away. I am glad she ended up with the fairy tale life that she had dreamed of.

Such a loss - No matter where a conversation started with Nicole, it always seemed to end up with astrology. she was such a kick. I worked with Nicole as a court reporter before she married John and was out of touch the last few years, something I will always regret. Nicole and John were true soulmates and will be immensely missed.

Christy, I have feeling so sad about Nicole...but also feeling very blessed to have her as a cousin ~who was more like an Aunt to me...I miss you and hope we can get the family together soon...so many great holidays and childhood memories...although you may not know it, you two have always been a HUGE inspiration to me! Lots of love to you!!
Jennifer xoxo
