Deepest sympathy to Dr. Carsten's family. He was my first employer, hiring me during in my junior year of high school as his dental assistant. I learned a great deal from him and always remembered him as having a great impact on my life. He was a great employer and a good man. A few years back while caring for a patient in the hospital that I work at here in Florida, I was discussing where I grew up and the patient was an acquaintance of Dr. Carsten's. We reminisced and it brought back wonderful memories of the time I shared working beside him. May he rest in peace.
Respectfully, Susan Zinser

I just got the news and wanted to say how much I enjoyed my relationship with your dad. He was a great horseman, a fine gentlemen and a good person to all.
I particularly enjoyed his happy personality as I was growing up at the Hunt Club.
