Not sure what to say?

Hard to believe it has been 18 years since Norm left us but lots of years of memories haven't diminished lots of great times in Norm's presence. Jeri and Steve - you're always on my mind. Joe Kessler

Always fond memories of this wonderful man

Norm gave me my first airplane ride in a DC 3 while flying James Rhoades

My sincer sympathy to the Crabtree Family. Knowing Norman for most of his life he brought a lot of joy to those of us who knew him, especially his class mates at Jackson High School and fellow Band members of that High School. It was a pleasure knowing him and growing up in Jackson with him and his brother Hayden. We will miss you Norman.

We're all "pleased as punch" to have had Norm Crabtree with us for so long. Whether calling air shows or flying governors, he was 100 percent aviation. His military contribution was exceptional. Those of us in aviation are so much the better because of Norm. Or sympathies to all of his family.

My deepest sympathy to the Crabtree Family. When the James A Rhodes airport was dedicated in Jackson, Ohio Norman took my sister, Nancy Schmid King, my grandfather, Benson Westlake and myself our first airplane ride in a DC-3. Now a private pilot and married a professonal pilot. Thanks Norm for a Great Memory

He taught me the secret of staying enthusiastic...no, passionate about what you love, about the sanctity of friendships, about never giving up. I am so honored and blessed to call him friend. I will always miss him.

We express great sympathy to the family. We want to share a memorable time when the Glasair N83BJ went to Vinton County for an airshow/event & were late because of a dead battery. I contacted the unicom & airport was closed & Norm intervened to let Uncle Joe & I participate in the air show so we could land. Norm was the best!

Thanks Norm. You will always be in our hearts. We will think of you when we look up or land at one of your county airports. Jeri and Stevie, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
