Not sure what to say?

Dear family,
We are so sad to hear of this loss. The isolation of the winter months and our family's loss has kept us from being as up to date on Mr. Durkee's status. He was a sweet man and a great neighbor (here and many years ago in west Pittsfield). I always enjoyed talking with him to catch up across the street. He also went out of his way to show concern for our family and to touch base with the kids in passing. We will miss him. Your family is in my prayers for extra comfort.

I worked with Norman for 8 years at Lakewood Mold Co. He was a very nice, mild mannered, easy going man. God bless his soul, rest in peace.

I was so saddened to learn of Norms passing !! I adored his kind and gentle nature !!! We had many years of great conversation while I cut his hair !! I used to tell him , now you're ready for your modeling debeau !!! I will miss him sooo much !!!

Sue, Steve, and family,
I’m so sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. He and your mom were great friends of my parents for many years. (Shirley and Frank Theising)
I ran into him often at the grocery store, and he always made me smile. The kindest man, he will be missed.
Sincere condolences,
Sheri Griffin

To Steven Durkheim and family sorry the the loss of your father.

We've been friends with Norm for many years. His passing grieves us a great deal. Our sympathies to his family and friends who knew his warmth and kindness. We have many happy memories of fun times we spent together.

My husband Jack and I met Norm over 20 years ago. We had great times together with Joyce playing cards, taking mystery rides, going to shows and performances and visiting in Florida. He was a kind and gentle man with a sense of humor. He will be sadly missed and I send my deepest sympathy

Joyce, Sue Ann, Steve, Amanda and Shauna,
My deepest sympathy to your family. He was a kind, caring man. May your memories give you strength during your time of grief.

Norman, you will be missed by all who new you! Say hello to my Mom when you arrive in gods arm together. How nice to know you will take her hand and walk each other to him.❤❤
