Not sure what to say?

Sorry for my belated condolences. I just found out about Uncle Norton's passing today (and I was out of town on the day). Such sad news. Uncle Norton, as befits his nickname to us, was part of the family. I feel fortunate that that relationship extended into my adult years so I could fully appreciate the kind and gentle, funny man that Norton was. He was always thoughtful and remained interested in my life as I grew into adulthood. I will remember the gentle ribbing but clearly affectionate...

Dear Judy, Daniel & Joe,
Forgive my tardiness but I just found out about Norton via my Aunt Eileen Lynch (Maury), who lives in Fla. I was so sad to hear about Norton & didn't even know he was sick. The last I heard, he was getting an award, for Medical Achievement, presented at Jewish Hospital.Had I known, you can be sure that I would've been wherever you needed me in a flash.
I agree with the description of Norton as a class act ! Judy, I remember when Mom drove...

Dr Waterman was a talented surgeon and patient advocate. He was a class act, treating all staff with respect and consideration. As a new nurse in the 70's I looked up to him and he taught me what it meant to take good care of a surgical patient. Eddie Lueken

I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Waterman's passing. He was my favorite!
When I started my OR Nursing career in 1975, I was given the job of scrubbing everyday with Dr. Waterman and his partner. Dr.W taught me so many valuable lessons that I remember even now, 42 years later!
His contributions to mankind, especially as the founder of S.O.S. are simply amazing.
May he rest in peace.
Deepest sympathy to Mrs. Waterman and the family.

So very sorry to hear about Mr. Waterman's passing. What a great legacy he leaves behind. My condolences to family and friends.

I extend my deepest sympathy to everyone in the Waterman family over the loss of this generous, talented and caring man. I hope, with time, your fond memories of him will provide you with some measure of comfort.

Truely a great physician and person. Wish more were like Norton!

Dr Waterman was such a kind soul and wonderful physician. I knew my patients were in good hands when he walked into their rooms.

Norton will always be remembered as a wonderful friend, colleague and mentor and will be sorely missed.
