Not sure what to say?

A lovely tribute to a beautiful lady. Gerri, you look just like your Mom. Thank you for sharing these memories. My greatest memory is your Mom's beautiful smile. She was such a joy to visit with and a great neighbor. Certainly Heaven's gain. Janice Neely

Gerri I'm so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. She was a great lady & a great friend. We missed her so much when they left Arkansas & moved to Perry.
We all have fond memories of her.Phyllis Tucker

We were so sorry to hear of Opal's passing. When we moved to Perry in 1979, Opal was our neighbor two doors down. She was a great neighbor, always so positive, always smiling and seemed to enjoy life. We are so glad we got a chance to know Opal. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

gerri, your mom lived across the street from my parents, bob and janice neely, in perry. we all attended first baptist there. mom and i were just talking about opal last week. i shared with mom this story. opal was sitting in front of me in the next row. we had just finished singing and starting to sit down. as i leaned forward to sit opal was leaning backward to sit--with the result being our heads colliding! it hurt but it was so funny and we both got so tickled! we could not figure out...

We were sad to hear of Opal's death. What a beautiful person she was! We will treasure our memories of her. We lived at the end of the street where Opal lived in Perry and our daughter,Diana, who was in grade school at the time, would anxiously watch for Opal to be coming up the street on one of her walks. Diana would run out the door as Opal passed by and continue to walk and visit with her. Opal always had time for her! We will be praying for Opal's family during this time of loss

Gerri and Fred, sincere thoughts and prayers on the loss of your loved one. We didn't know her personally, but we know she must have been a wonderful lady, because she has a wonderful daughter. Pam and James Lindsey

In loving memory of a wonderful person. I miss you Opal.
With love and fond remembrance. Wren
