Owen Stanley Shoemaker III

I'm so sorry to learn of his passing Dr. Shoemaker helped my son and I in so many ways I very saddened by this news he loved his job and the kids very much I was expecting during my sons time at the Star program and I was an emotional wreck but he made everything better in our lives God knows I felt as if he was our Guardian Angel sent from above To Mrs. Shoemaker God blessed you with a wonderful husband and may he continue to sleep in heavenly peace

Stan is already greatly missed but will remain an inspiration to many of us for his humble and gentle way of sharing his gifts with many young children. He is going to be sorely missed.

Dr. Shoemaker we will miss your presence on the Sea Islands, so sad to hear of your sudden passing. Thank-you for taking time with all the many kids and families of Rural Missions.. Peace and comfort to the family gratefully, jackie baer and eilleen mikell

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. May the peace of God surround you during this unexpected, difficult time.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Stan's death. We worked together at the Virginia Treatment Center in Richmond many years ago. All of my condolences go out to Mary Lou and his family
