I had the pleasure of knowing Bart at the pottery studio at CSU. He was a talented artist and loved sharing his talents with others. Below is Bart proudly displaying his winning piece for ceramics in the annual art show. His memory will be with many of us potters forever. Rest in peace.

So sorry to hear about Bart passing. I knew him from pottery classes at CSU studio. Bart designed beautiful ceramic items. I remember him as a neat, polite , thoughtful man. May he rest in peace. Lisa Powers

Bart's memory will be a blessing. His friendship, warmth, and sharing of ceramic advice were appreciated and enjoyed by me and others who worked alongside him in ceramic classes. I will always remember Bart's ability to work with clay, glaze and whatever and stay spotlessly clean during and after the process. In contrast, I would walk into the studio and be covered in clay immediately. Bart, with a smile, attributed his neatness and cleanliness to his toilet training.
