Patricia Jean Curry

I did my student teaching under Pat in 1972 at Southwestnedge Elementary school. What a wonderful experience as it was the first year of desegregation in the Kalamazoo schools. I have often wondered what and where she was. I am so sorry to hear of her passing a d John's. I was treated like a daughter by both of them and will cherish those memories. I retired from 33 years of teaching in 2006. Please pass my condolences on to the family.

So sorry to hear of Pat´s passing. Hoping the family will find comfort in their treasured memories with Pat. Pat was a wonderful teacher and colleague helping me and many others in many ways as I began my teaching career with KPS. We had many fun teaching times together.

So sad to hear my loving neighbor has passed, She would call me when she would see my grandchildren visiting to remark how much they have grown or to tell me how sweet my dogs were or for just about anything, I remember her walking Bonnie up and down the street, stopping to talk to all her neighbors. She will truly be missed,,,,even if was just a wave from her window, God bless her and her family, May she RIP with John!

she was like a second mom to me. john and her treated me like i was one of their own and i always felt welcome in their home. i am glad they are back together but i will truly miss getting my hugs from her. my thoughts and prayers to all of the family.
