Pat was the dearest neighbor I could have ever asked for. I knew her for eight years, and she was such a wonderful person. She was so kind, so thoughtful, deeply appreciative of anything anyone did for her, yet strong and independent also. We went to lunch sometimes to celebrate birthdays or just to visit. Patricia's mother and aunt had a mutual friend of my family, Mr and Mrs Richard de Sales. Through them, I got to know Pat, her mother and aunt. She and I had numerous telephone conversations over the years, the most recent one was just a few weeks ago. She will be missed,The last part of a long era is over.
