Mrs. Devore, I remember you used to have us put our heads down on our desks and hum to us after recess to calm us down. Thank you for being my 1st grade teacher! You had at least one kid in your class that turned out all right =)

I'm so sorry to hear this. I knew Patti in AAUW in the book group and the lunch group. She was a good friend of my mom-Mickey Ranney.

Jen and Jeff, I was saddened to hear about the passing of your mother. I remember her working in the garden and creating such beauty in your yard! I think that may have something to do with my affinity for gardening now. Sending you and yours peace, love and fond memories. Love you all.

Pat has been a part of my life since I was six years old. They were our neighbors when we moved to Salt Lake City. Over the years our families did many camping trips, parties, celebrations together. She had a wonderful laugh and an interest in everything going on. She lives on in my memories! God Bless her and Jeff and Jennifer!

I really loved Ms. Devore as my 1st grade teacher at Taylorsville Elementary in 1975. She was so kind and understanding and I think of her from time to time in my life.
