Dan, as you said, we think to pick up the phone and call to chat with her and then realize that she is gone. I have known her since the 70s when we began working for the government. We remained friends till she left us. Having been blessed so many years being friends (a long time), I am slowly adjusting to know I cannot call or visit her anymore.
