Dr. Patricia Tindell Hinton

My heart goes out to the Family. My Mother was a Tindell and Patricia and I were cousins although we never met. I am saddened by her passing.

I wish to express my sympathy to Pat's family. I only learned of her passing today and I'm so sad to learn we've lost another kind and caring classmate of BHS 1960's graduating class. Gerald said it all. All of us who knew her will remember her smile and wisdom.

It would be difficult to add any more to what Gerald said about Pat. He summed it up well. What I will say is this... I will treasure the memories Pat and I made through the years since we first met at Dukate in the 6th grade. She is, and will continue to be, deeply missed.

Pat made friends easily and stuck with them through thick and thin. From Dukate Elementary on through Biloxi High, all the "boys" were always having to push harder academically to catch up with Pat. Yet, she was never, as we said in those days, "conceited" about it. Her down-to-earth, kind and cheerful personality was a disarming surface of a deeply brilliant person. I was a high school classmate of Pat. She was a wonderful person who I always remember had a smile on her face and was everyone's friend. May she rest in piece.
