It was my pleasure to know Patty and Donna when we all members of Virginia Heights Baptist Church in Roanoke, VA. Dear Bob - We know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love. Words cannot heal the pain of losing someone so dear. May God give you the strength to overcome the pain. May you take comfort in knowing an angel is watching over you and your family. ...

Dear Donna,
I was so stunned to hear of Patty's death, I could hardly believe it. I first met you and Patty in 8th grade and remember you all were so sweet and so smart beyond your years. As I read the obit, I am extremely proud of Patty's accomplishments. What a contribution she left on this earth! I send you and your family my love, prayers, condolences and will ask God for extra strength for you in this difficult time. Thinking of you.

Donna, I remember so well both you and Patty, and I am so sorry for your loss. I have actually thought of both of you since JHS and Roanoke and wondered where you were now.
