I have many happy memories of her classes (...and even remember some Latin after almost 30 years...) Very sorry to hear the news and very glad to have been her student.

I was so sorry to hear this news--I was reminiscing with another former student of hers, went to look her up, and found this page. She was a great teacher. I went on to do more Latin in college and graduate school and now it's part of my professional life. It all started with Ms. Stanton. Ave atque vale, magistra.

There is no better friend than a sister, and there was no better sister than Tricia.
She was a gift to our family, a friend to everyone, and a consummate testimonial to the meaning of life.
Tricia, you're gone but never forgotten. We will celebrate your well-lived life!

I have fond memories of sharing a room with Trish. She was always a professional and taught me how to be a teacher. She always gave me such good advice. Her students loved her classes and the fun activities (I remember how they lined up all of their paintings and poems)! I learned so much from her. What she did for your CHS Latin and French students will stay with them forever. Amica * Magistra * Thank you.
