Read MorePatrick was a friend for a long time. He and I attended U of I at the same time and became friends there. We kept in touch over the years, but sparingly. I have only just now found out about his passing. My husband and I were able to visit with him in 2007 when we visited NYC. It was a wonderful dinner, at a place downtown that he knew. I am sorry I wasn't very good at keeping in touch. He is in my heart.
